The Villa is very comfortable, even for all of 6 of us. The kids loved the pool, especially the waterfall hot tub.
The Zermatt bakery was amazing. I definitely hit that too many times during our stay and my waist line shows it. The restaurant's on site were very good also.
The Midway Villa will become a family tradition for us!

Our family took advantage of this wonderful opportunity this summer and it was worth every penny! I was impressed from the moment we drove up to the resort. Not only is the Midway scenery breathtaking, but the resort itself is incredible with it's beautiful European architecture and immaculate grounds. The Villa itself was clean, spacious, and luxurious. There was more than enough room for our family of five. Although we only had 3 days to spend here, there was plenty to keep us busy just at the resort alone. They have a beautiful pool area, fun activities for children and families such as puppet-making, treasure-hunting, giant chess and checker boards, shuffleboard, miniature golf, a beautiful outdoor carousel, family movie nights and s'mores. There are numerous walkways around the resort that give you the opportunity to enjoy the sights of Midway. We also took advantage of the award winning seafood buffet at Schneitter's. The food was DELICIOUS! There was so much variety and even plenty of choices for my non-seafood loving children. We also had some wonderful gelatto at the European bakery at the resort. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Everywhere we went, they were asking us if we were having a good time or asking if there was anything they could do to help us. The staff that ran the children's activities were especially friendly and very good with children.
When I asked my kids what their favorite part of the vacation was, they said "the puppet-making class and treasure hunt, riding the carousel, and fun things to do as a family." I think at least one of them has asked me at least once a week since we left when we can go back again. We plan on taking advantage of this opportunity again...only this time we will stay LONGER!

Our stay at the Zermatt Resort offered us the experience to truly get away. From the details in the architecture to the staff greetings of 'Guten tag,' you feel like you have been transported to Europe. The Villa is quaint and spacious, with wonderful upgrades. The fitness room has excellent equipment and a beautiful mountain view. The pool offered crisp refreshment for our family, with indoor and outdoor options. The highlight, however, was the old-fashioned European carousel -- the kids enjoyed ride after ride. The resort also offered various activities such as a movie night and scavenger hunt, which we could enjoy for free. Our stay flew by quickly and we can't wait to go back!
